Five Cute And Easy Fall Photo Ideas For Baby

Inspiration For Your Fall Baby Milestone Photos

Fall is such a fun season with Thanksgiving, Halloween and Back To School, there’s lots of reason to celebrate! For me, part of fulling enjoying the Fall season is dressing my baby boy, Devin in Fall themed outfits. I love sharing the transition of new seasons with my little guy and exploring all of the change a new seasons brings. From crunchy leaves, to cooler air to pumpkin picking, Devin was game for it all. I like to think it’s because he had the proper shirts ;)

For us, another part of fully experiencing new seasons during his first year was capturing his photo week by week in cute seasonal outfits (I did this for Christmas too, see the full post here: Festive Baby Milestone Photo Ideas For The Christmas Holidays)

My oldest son, Jayden is a full-on Halloween enthusiast. He helped me to pick out Devin’s outfit and was sure to remind me that ‘orange’ is the official colour of the season.

We started the Fall season in a brown onesie from old navy. I love the stripes because he looks like a little man!

In his Halloween pyjamas from Carter’s. Looks like he needs to eat something…

A long sleeved Halloween shirt. Matching socks complete the look. Pants are optional when you’re this cute.

A Fall photo shoot wouldn’t be complete without a peek at his Halloween costume. Had to lay him on his belly to show off those spider legs!

We got a lot of wear out of this pumpkin hat from Old Navy. It was great to have this for Fall activities like pumpkin picking and apple picking! It was always a hit. His orange pants and denim shirt were hand me downs from big brother.

Taking seasonal photos has lots of advantages. For example, at the end of the year I created a calendar for Devin’s grandparents. I used the Fall photos for October and the Christmas pics for December.

If you’re looking for some of the age milestone blocks, here’s a gender neutral option, available through Amazon:

I took Devin’s photo every week for 52 weeks. This was one of my favourite maternity leave memories and I’m so happy to have all these great pics.
